For a variation, add a chopped red, yellow or green bell pepper after steak is browned. Cook and stir until crisp-tender. Add remaining ingredients and finish as described in recipe.
May replace the can of tomato paste and 1 cup of water with 1 can (15 oz) Hunt's Tomato Sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into small, bite-size pieces
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1 can Ranch Style® Original Texas Beans (15 ounce)
- 1 can Hunt’s diced tomatoes (14.5 ounce), drained
- 1 can RO*TEL® Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies (10 ounce), undrained
- 1 can Hunt's® Tomato Paste (6 ounce)
- 1 cup(s) water
- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
