Ideally, the asparagus should retain a little crunchiness; so be careful not to overcook your green friend.
- 1 1/2 lb. asparagus
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 1 lemon or orange, halved
- Preheat barbeque grill to medium-hot and place a wire cooling rack or vegetable rack on the grate.
- Cut woody stems off asparagus and discard. Drizzle asparagus with olive oil and place on hot wire rack. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once and remove. Sprinkle with sea salt and lemon or orange juice. Serve.
