Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup(s) walnut pieces, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whip eggs, oil, milk and buttermilk together until frothy.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, spices and sugar in a small bowl. Stir this dry mixture into liquid mixture. Add raisins, pumpkin and walnut pieces. Stir gently—do not over mix.
  4. Brush 2 small loaf pans with butter and fill three-quarters full.
  5. Bake 45 to 60 minutes, or until loaves are light brown and a toothpick or cake tester comes out clean.
