Remove the pork from the sauce to shred then cover with as much of the cooking liquid as desired to keep the pork moist but not soupy.

  1. Place pork into slow cooker.
  2. Mix 1 1/2 cups salsa, chili powder, cumin, sugar, pepper, salt and garlic in a small bowl, pour over pork. Cook on low heat setting for 6 hours.
  3. Remove pork from slow cooker; shred pork using 2 forks. Serve with tortillas, shredded lettuce, cheese, salsa and sour cream.
