Remove the pork from the sauce to shred then cover with as much of the cooking liquid as desired to keep the pork moist but not soupy.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. canola Oil
  • 12 corn tostada shells

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Brown pork loin on all sides, remove from skillet and place into slow cooker insert.
  2. Mix 1 1/2 cups salsa, chili powder, cumin, sugar, pepper, salt and garlic in a small bowl. Pour over pork. Cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours.
  3. Remove pork from slow cooker; shred pork using 2 forks.
  4. Layer lettuce, meat, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream on each tostada.
