Associates of San Antonio and New Braunfels area Wal-Mart stores, SAM’S CLUBS and distribution centers have contributed more than $40,000 to help the victims affected by the recent floods.
Wal-Mart has given cash donations to local chapters of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
"The devastating floods throughout our area have challenged us to reach out even more to our neighbors in need," said Beth Covarrubia, regional sales manager for SAM’S CLUB. "Wal-Mart and SAM’S CLUB associates throughout the state have done a remarkable job of providing aid to their communities, and we’re happy to help the Red Cross and Salvation Army in their efforts to get as many victims as possible back on their feet."
