Grand opening activities will include ribbon cutting ceremony with more than $23,000 in charitable contributions to be given away to area organizations.
Since 1994, SAM’S CLUB has proudly served small business owners in the Madison Heights area, and we’re excited to continue this tradition in this “City of Progress” at a brand new location, at 31020 John R. Rd. To help us celebrate this grand occasion, SAM’S CLUB will present a special ribbon cutting ceremony and grant presentation, Thursday, June 30, at 9:30 a.m. Mayor Edward C. Swanson, members of the City Council and representatives from the Miracle League, will join more than 170 Club associates, grant recipients and enthused small business members in the festivities.
In addition to specialty areas available at the previous location-café, bakery and tire mounting area, the new SAM’S CLUB will feature several new departments, including a gasoline station, pharmacy, 1-hour photo, optical, floral and an extensive line of frozen foods and fresh produce.
“Small businesses have played an integral part in our success, and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.” said Scott Marazita, general manager. “The quality brands and additional benefits we offer at Every Day Low Cost, helps to ensure that small businesses in Madison Heights continue to thrive for years to come.”
In addition to the grand opening, we invite small business owners in the Madison Heights area to visit our website, www.samsclub.com, to view our new Small Business Confidence Index.
The Confidence Index contains research from owners and operators of local businesses – such as offices, child care, schools, restaurants, motels, vending companies, churches, contractors and beauty shops – which will all play an integral part in the success of the SAM’S CLUB location in Madison Heights.
