Relocated Sam's Club to Generate Over $1 Million in Sales Tax Revenue for City of Freehold

Frank Vincent, who plays the infamous Phil Leotardo, on the critically acclaimed HBO drama The Sopranos, will join SAM’S CLUB associates for the grand opening ceremony of the newly relocated facility on Thursday, March 23. The new 153,000 sq. ft. SAM’S CLUB, located at 320 W. Main St., will open its doors immediately following a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Vincent will autograph copies of his latest book, “The Guy’s Guide to Being a Man’s Man,” from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Members of the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce will also be on hand to celebrate the opening of the new facility.

“We are proud to serve the Freehold community as they have been an integral part in our success for more than 12 years,” said Joseph Kojonaski, general manager at the Freehold SAM’S CLUB.

The new Freehold SAM’S CLUB will feature several departments including, Tire and Batteries, Café, 1 Hour Photo, bakery, optical, pharmacy, floral, jewelry, frozen foods, fresh produce, and choice meats.

SAM’S CLUB offers a treasure hunt shopping experience complete with an extensive inventory of more than 4,000 affordable luxury items including branded electronics, upscale jewelry pieces, fine wine , choice meats and designer handbags including Kate Spade and Prada to name a few.

Small business owners and operators will have access to additional services and benefits to help them increase productivity and profitability, including health insurance solutions, merchant and credit card processing and marketing solutions including signs and banners.

Becoming a Vital Member of the Community
The new SAM’S CLUB location is expected to generate additional sales tax revenue for the City of Freehold. Additionally, through its charitable giving initiative, the company is committed to making a positive impact on the communities it serves. During the ribbon cutting ceremony,
Club associates will contribute more than $13,000 to area non-profit organizations through the company’s Good.Works. community involvement program.

Regular Club hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Gold Key Hours for business members are 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
