Sam's Club Opens New Club in Janesville
Popular warehouse chain to open 12th facility in the state of Wisconsin, and is expected to bring 150 new jobs to the local community.

JANESVILLE, Wis., November 15, 2006 –Residents throughout South Central Wisconsin have been anxiously awaiting the opening of an all Sam’s Club location at 3900 Deerfield Dr., which marks the 12th location in the great state of Wisconsin. The entire community in Rock County is invited to attend the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, November 16. Club associates will present more than $36,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Janesville, Salvation Army and Edison Middle School.

“This is a momentous occasion for residents in the area, as Sam’s Club brings affordable luxury merchandise, goods and services to the Janesville community with the opening this facility,” said James Barrett, club manager. “We look forward to providing exceptional values in our selection of fresh foods, brand name electronics, jewelry and exciting treasure hunt items.”

“In addition, as the Janesville and Milton Township community continues to grow, we expect to be able to serve both new and existing businesses in the area as a partner to help them to lower costs and increase profits.”

Sam’s Club offers a variety of services including health insurance, merchant credit card processing and travel services as well as other programs. Both Business and Advantage Members can save even more on club services and purchases with a Plus Membership earning up to two percent cash back by using a Sam’s Club Discover card.

Regular Club hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gold Key Hours for Business members are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
