Sam's Club Makes Holiday Shopping and Saving Simple

Members Get Exclusive Access to Must Have Gifts at Extraordinary Prices Beginning Thanksgiving Eve

Bentonville, AR – Nov. 19, 2009 – Sam’s Club, the nation’s 9th largest retailer and a leading membership warehouse club announced its plans today for the holiday shopping season with deals on all the must have gifts in every aisle and with each click online.

Sam’s Club has selected 40 items for special pricing while supplies last as part of the event. Some examples of the exceptional holiday savings include a Vizio 47” LCD TV with 240 hertz refresh for $997, toys for $15 and $20 as well as the latest games; and a three piece sterling silver and 1/3 carat diamond bangle bracelet set for $148. Sam’s Club will open nationwide at 5 a.m., Friday, Nov. 27 and serve a free hot breakfast during the members only event.

“We’re offering amazing values on high-quality gifts to kick off the holiday shopping season,” said Steve Dacus, senior vice president, Merchandising for Sam’s Club. “Our members count on us year round to provide exceptional value and we will deliver now too.”

For those who just can’t wait and want a sneak peek of the featured products, samsclub.com will showcase upcoming items and prices in exclusive email and mobile updates beginning Monday, November 23. On the evening of Wednesday, November 25, members can get access in advance as well as purchase all the featured goods for the Thanksgiving shopping event online, as well as other hot items.

SamsClub.com will also feature a Special Buy of the Day now through Christmas Eve.
Recent Special Buys have included a seven-foot cashmere slim fir pre-lit tree for $99 and a Vizio 32” HD LCD TV for $338. Membership is required to make purchases online.
