GOSHEN, Ind., Nov.1, 2010 – Sam’s Club enhances the shopping experience at its Goshen location as it unveils a fresh, new look this week that expands popular categories. In addition to offering new items, the club’s layout has been modified to make shopping easier and faster by placing the most purchased products in more convenient locations. These changes bring the Sam’s Club brand—Savings Made Simple—to life on both the interior and exterior of the facility. The company expects to remodel 150 facilities similarly this year.
“We listened to our members and enhanced the club with a customer-friendly, open design,” said Mike Edwards, club manager. “This is one more way we can give our members superior value and an exceptional shopping experience. Our new layout makes shopping simple.”
The Goshen Sam’s Club members will notice enhancements throughout the club, including a repaved parking lot, a bright interior paint scheme and enhanced lighting to create a more inviting shopping experience and help define the store’s merchandise areas. Low-profile shelving creates an improved sightline and directional signage helps customers find the products they need.
Jewelry is now located near apparel and books to accommodate member requests to shop these three categories together. Members will appreciate the new customer-friendly layout of the electronics department and the new connection center kiosk for cellular phone sales.
The Goshen Sam’s Club also expanded its infant section with a wider selection of diapers as well as infant formula and combined the juice and sodas into one convenient section.

To make shopping easier, members can also use samsclub.com personal shopping service, Click ‘n’ Pull®. At no additional cost, consumers can order items online to be picked up at the club. If ordered by 5 p.m., they can pick up their complete shopping order of items at their local Sam’s Club the following day. Click ‘n’ Pull is an easy way to fit exceptional savings in an already busy schedule.
For Plus Members, shoppers can enter the Club earlier and take advantage of extended shopping hours, starting at 7 a.m.
